FLORIDA MAN VS THE WORLD // OCT 22–24, 2026 // SGMP, ADEL GA
KNOW BEFORE
YOU TOW.
CLASSES, PAYOUTS, TECH, AND WHAT YOUR MONEY ACTUALLY BUYS.
BEFORE YOU BUY
THREE DIFFERENT THINGS.
This trips people up every year, so plainly: your gate ticket, your registration, and your tech card are three separate things. Buying one does not get you the others.
01 // ADMISSION
A TICKET
Gets you and your crew through the gate. Everyone coming with you needs one, racer or not.
02 // TO COMPETE
REGISTRATION + PIT
One booking. It signs you up to run and claims your pavement — 30-amp power if you take an electrical spot, and those go first.
03 // AT THE TRACK
A TECH CARD
A separate fee, and every car goes through tech. Know what you'll be held to before you load up — see below.
DRAG RACING
EIGHT CLASSES. PICK YOUR FIGHT.
Heads-up racing across eight classes, from all-out builds down to whatever you drove in. Payouts below are what the class pays out — not an entry fee.
ALL-OUT CLASS
Biggest, baddest, all-balls racing. Flagship class.
PAYOUT
KING OF GRUDGE
Dangerous. Wild. The class everyone watches.
PAYOUT
1/8 MILE
Short track, full send. High-stakes eighth-mile shootout.
PAYOUT
NA CLASS
Naturally aspirated only. No boost, no excuses.
PAYOUT
STREET CLASS
Street-driven, tag-and-title legal. The people's class.
PAYOUT
1/4 MILE
Classic quarter-mile drag racing. Pure drag DNA.
PAYOUT
ROLL RACING
Rolling start. Big power. Big sounds. Big crowd.
PAYOUT
DAILY DRIVER
The car you drove here. Send it. Loose, fun, unpredictable.
PAYOUT
THE RULEBOOK
NHRA RULES APPLY.
South Georgia Motorsports Park is an NHRA Division 2 member track, so the NHRA rulebook is the baseline for tech at this event.
Read the rulebook for your class before you tow. If your car has never been through tech, budget time for it — don't plan on rolling straight to the lanes.
STILL CONFIRMING
ASK BEFORE YOU BUY.
A few event-specific details aren't locked yet. We'd rather say so than post a number you'd plan around:
- Tech card price and where to buy it
- Tech inspection hours and location on property
- Which classes require a chassis cert or licence on the day
Call the track directly — 229-896-7000.
SGMP's own page covers venue and spectator policy — camping, coolers, pets. It is not a tech document. SGMP venue policies →
THE DRIFTING
SIDEWAYS FOR $5,000.
Tandem battles on the pad all weekend — judged runs, real brackets, and a cut of the prize pool that stands on its own. Bring tires. Bring more than you think you need.
1ST PLACE
2ND PLACE
3RD PLACE
- Judged runs, then tandem battles
- Runs all three days — Oct 22–24
- Open to street and purpose-built cars
- Entry and tech are separate from your pit spot
THE RULEBOOK
SAME RULEBOOK, SIDEWAYS.
South Georgia Motorsports Park is an NHRA Division 2 member track, so the NHRA rulebook is the baseline for tech at this event.
Drift cars get teched too. Even if you've run this car at grassroots events, check the safety sections before you load up — the bar here is the track's, not the last event's.

- Entry fee and how it differs from a drag class entry
- Tire rules and whether tires are available on site
